Need to wait till Tuesday to buy the prima because the shop isn’t open at weekends or bank holidays but this doesn’t set me back because I cant start painting until Tuesday anyway.

This is what it will look like, I haven’t finished putting the gold bits in because it was taking too long.

Today I went to the printer to put the film negative on a screen. I also cut the piece of wood to size and rounded the edges. I made an appointment with Betty to photograph it when it is finished. I need to decide what colours I’m going to use.

Went and got the film negative today – was a bit worried about how it would turn out because I hadn’t slept for a couple days but it turned out really well. Tomorrow I have to get it onto a screen, cut down my wood, buy the stuff to prime it.

It took me all day and night to scan in the image and tidy it up in the computer – bit longer than I expected so I’m a day behind schedule but they are printing the film negative now, so I can go and collect it later and take it to the printer.

Today I went to collect my wood and met with the printing man. Got details on what materials to use to prime the wood, exact size, details like that. Also dates, going to meet him this Thursday with the film negative printed to guarantee myself one of the bigger screens. The actual printing will take place NEXT Thursday – probably a week later than I would have hoped but this is the only time he is available. That gives me three days four days to do the gold leafing and to photograph it.
