Taking a Leaf out of Breton’s Book

Cutting the inoffensive bits out of the films reminded me of a bit from the Manifesto of Surrealism, oddly enough.

“M.Paul Valery suggested that an anthology be compiled in which the largest possible number of opening passages from novels be offered; the resulting insanity, he predicted, would be a source of considerable edification.” Andre Breton, Manifesto of Surrealism, 1924
